Company Profile
Sirius7 was founded in 1996 and was officially launched in 1998. Sirius7 has continued to grow steadily acquiring over 200 customers since that time. We have produced a continuous release of bespoke desktop and internet-based GIS software packages and mapping services to both the public and private sector.
The company ethos of Sirius7 has always been to provide easy-to-use, powerful mapping software and mapping tools, which is emphasised by the company mission statement; “To produce easy-to-use mapping software.”
As well as offering bespoke desktop GIS software in the form of Profiler, Crime & Community Profiler and our new product Market Profiler, Sirius7 also offers;
Internet Mapping solutions OutletLocator and SchoolLocator, which have been developed together with CAD Capture (Blackburn).
Specialised consultancy work using our own data analysis tools.
Training in the use of our desktop GIS systems.
Summary of Sirius7
- 2006 - Listbuilder add-on is launched. Profiler users can now obtain addresses (residential/business) from the Profiler software
- 2004 - Profiler Lite launched. It is the mapping engine inside Pro-Achieve produced by Compass Computer Consultants
- 2003 - Market Profiler launched, purpose built for the Private Sector
- 2002 - Profiler is launched to replace College Mapper, our software package for the FE and HE Sector
- 2001 - School Locator, a sister product of Outlet Locator, is launched
- 2000 - Outlet Locator, our web-based location product, is launched in conjunction with CAD Capture LTD
- 1999 - College Mapper launched.
- 1998 - Sirius7 Software Ltd is officially launched.
- 1996 - Sirius7 Software Ltd is formed with the release of Mapper, Sirius7’s first Microsoft-based desktop GIS system.
