School Locator
SchoolLocator is Sirius7's Internet based High School search facility. Developed in conjunction with leaders in the world of GIS, it can be used to locate the nearest High School via a postcode or settlement name.
Based on Microsoft technology, SchoolLocator is the sister product of OutletLocator. Designed to show the locations of High Schools, SchoolLocator is a mapping and search facility designed to integrate geographical maps into your website. SchoolLocator also displays 4 years worth of GCSE results, the nearest primary schools and the OFSTED report for all state run schools.
Search by Postcode and Settlement Name
Utilising the Ordnance Survey Grid Reference, SchoolLocator allows the user to search for a High School via a town/city name or by a postcode. The user can also input in a distance to narrow down the search spectrum. The SchoolLocator search engine then displays the nearest 10 (or more if the user has inputted a search distance) High Schools to the location inputted. You can then view the locations of these High Schools on high-quality street maps from Microsoft MapPoint. As well as being able to view the location of the High School on quality street maps, the user can also see the past 4 years worth of GCSE results, the nearest 10 primary schools and the corresponding SAT results and the OFSTED reports for the state run schools.
